Ivorian Ligue 1: SOL beat Mouna for second straight win

SOL are continuing their good run of form, whilst Mouna are experiencing a difficult start to the season.

Away at CTNFIF Bingerville on Sunday 11 October as part of Matchday 3 of the Ivorian Ligue 1, SOL beat Mouna 1-0. The visitors took the lead within the first six minutes.

Michel N’Guessan opened the scoring for SOL in the 6th minute, making it 1-0. Despite this early goal, no further goals were scored. Both sides pressed forward but failed to find the net again.

SOL managed to hold on to their lead until the final whistle. The club has thus secured a second consecutive victory at the start of the Ivorian Ligue 1 season.

Thanks to this performance, SOL provisionally move into third place in the league, with a game in hand. The club’s match on the second matchday had been postponed due to the unavailability of the Ebimpé Olympic Stadium.

For their part, Mouna are slipping further down the table. The club have suffered two defeats and drawn one match, and sit second from bottom in the league with just one point.
