Ivorian Ligue 1: San Pedro lose to Agboville

The Petruciens have now gone two games without a win.

Away from home on matchday 26 of the Ivorian league, San Pedro lost to an Agboville side teetering on the brink of the relegation zone. The home side gave it their all to secure victory at the final whistle. The two sides had gone into the break level at 1-1. But Agboville found the resources to prevail in the second half. The match ended 2-1.

In the second fixture on Saturday 25 April, SOL FC got the better of Racing Club, 1-2. SOL FC, playing away from home, took the lead in the 19th minute when Bakayoko Sindou opened the scoring, 1-0. But the home side reacted immediately, equalising in the 22nd minute through Ganame Moussa. However, Bakayoko Sindou found the net again in the 53rd minute to make it 1-2. A valuable victory for SOL FC, which strengthens their position in the league table.
