Ivorian Ligue 1: kick-off date for the 2026–2027 season announced

The new season of the Ivorian professional league will begin next August.
The ball will soon be rolling again in Ivory Coast. Whilst the 2025-2026 season ended last May with ASEC Mimosas being crowned champions, Ivorian clubs will resume competition in two months’ time.
Ivorian football officials have set August as the month for the resumption of competitions. The 2026–2027 season will kick off with the Ivorian Super Cup on 6 August. It will see Ligue 1 winners ASEC Mimosas take on CO Korhogo, winners of the National Cup.
The professional league will officially begin on 28 August. ASEC Mimosas will be defending their title in the new season.
