Ivorian Ligue 1: ASEC Mimosas bounces back, San Pedro draws
The Matchday 20 of the Ivorian professional football championship continued this Sunday 1 March.
ASEC Mimosas managed to recover from their defeat on the previous day. The league leaders, who were hosting SOL FC at the Ebimpe Stadium, won 3-2 after a moment of panic. The Mimos were twice behind thanks to goals from Zorom in the 27th minute and N'guessan in the 69th minute. But the home side found the resources to turn the situation around in this Matchday 20.
Fofana equalised in the 63rd minute. Dosso did the same in the 74th minute after N'guessan's goal gave FC SOL the lead again in the 69th minute. Fofana returned at the very end of the match to crucify the visitors. He scored in the 86th minute for ASEC, completing his brace for the evening and securing victory for his club.
At home, FC San Pedro was unable to overcome SOA. The two teams shared the points with a scoreless 0-0 draw.
