Ivorian Jean Charles Ahoua officially signs with CR Belouizdad in Algeria

After several days of speculation, Jean Charles Ahoua's arrival in the Algerian Ligue 1 is now official. CRB announced the signing of the midfielder just as Simba SC of Tanzania, his former club, confirmed his departure.

The Ivorian player has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, CR Belouizdad announced. ‘CR Belouizdad is pleased to announce the signing of Ivorian striker Jean Charles Ahua (23) from Simba SC in Tanzania on a two-and-a-half-year contract.’

This is a significant boost for Belouizdad as they look ahead to the rest of the season in Algeria's Ligue 1. Before arriving in Algeria, Jean Charles Ahua played three matches, scored one goal and provided one assist in the Tanzanian Premier League with Simba SC this season. Last season, the former Stella Adjame player scored 16 goals in 16 matches with the Tanzanian club.
