The Ivory Coast international is leaving Europe for America after several seasons in the top leagues. Columbus Crew announced Eric Bailly’s transfer on Friday 17 July via a statement on social media.
Eric Bailly has signed a one-season contract, running until 2027, with an option to extend for two further seasons. The Ivory Coast international defender joins the MLS with a wealth of experience gained in Europe.
He has notably played for Manchester United, Villarreal, Marseille, Besiktas and, most recently, Real Oviedo.
