The versatile 20-year-old has signed for newly promoted Ipswich Town for five seasons.

Abdoul Ouattara has taken another step forward in his young career. The Ivorian has left Strasbourg, where he had been playing since making his professional debut.

He has joined Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town. Abdoul Ouattara has signed a five-year contract with the English club, running until June 2031.

Ipswich Town have not disclosed the transfer fee for the young Ivorian. However, sources claim that Abdoul Ouattara’s transfer is worth 20 million euros.

Capable of playing on either flank of the defence or in midfield, the 20-year-old will make his Premier League debut in a few days’ time. Abdoul Ouattara has expressed his pride at joining Ipswich Town.

“I am very happy to have signed for Ipswich Town.” The Premier League is the best league in the world and as soon as I knew the opportunity was there, to play in England under a manager I have already enjoyed working with, I jumped at it.

“I am still young but have had some good experiences already and I can’t wait to meet the fans and my teammates and get started.”
