Bayer Leverkusen were champions last season and are in contention for the title this year, but one of the team's key players, Jonathan Tah, will soon leave the club.
Details: The German defender himself confirmed in an interview with Kicker that the decision has been made—he will leave at the end of the season.
Quote: "Everything was decided from the start. The moment came when I decided not to extend the contract and not to stay here, and since then, nothing has changed," said Jonathan Tah.
As a side note, Real Madrid is determined to appoint Xabi Alonso as the head coach this summer. In Madrid, they are looking for ways to avoid paying a hefty compensation for prematurely terminating the specialist's contract with Bayer.
