Ittihad Touarga coach's accusations against referees : the president of the Moroccan Football League announces an investigation

After the Ittihad Touarga match against Renaissance Zemamra, coach Abdelwahed Zemrat made explosive statements.

In his revelations, Abdelwahed Zemrat made shocking remarks about the interference of the national director of refereeing, Redouane Jiyed, in the refereeing decisions during a previous match between Ittihad Touarga and Maghreb Fès. According to Zemrat, Jiyed contacted the referees and gave them instructions regarding controversial decisions that cast doubt on the integrity of the match.

In a swift reaction, Abdel Salam Belkchour, president of the Professional League, condemned these statements during an appearance on Radio Mars, calling them "very serious," and announcing that a transparent judicial inquiry would be demanded to verify the validity of these allegations and uncover the truth.

Former international referee Redouane Jiyed also responded to the accusations leveled against him by Abdelwahed Zemrat, coach of Ittihad Touarga. Jiyed emphasized the seriousness of Zemrat's remarks, stating that this type of statement could damage the reputation of the national football governing bodies.

« This service provided by the university and by the national football authorities in all categories is unacceptable," categorically confirming his willingness to be held accountable before the law: "I am ready to be held accountable and punished if I prove even a single letter of what Zmerat said, and I am ready to hand over my phone to the scientific police for technical analysis, » explained Redouane Jaid.
