It's settled! Manchester United make fresh bid for Brighton star

A blockbuster transfer could happen this summer.

Details: According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United's management is ready to table a new offer to Brighton for 22-year-old defensive midfielder Carlos Baleba.

United already attempted to sign Baleba last summer and even agreed personal terms with him, but the Red Devils couldn't convince Brighton, who demanded at least £100 million for the midfielder.

Currently, Baleba's form has noticeably dipped, impacting his transfer value—something Manchester United are looking to exploit, as they still see him as a top-level player.

This season, Carlos Baleba has made 29 appearances for Brighton but is yet to register a goal or assist.

His contract with Brighton runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated at €55 million by Transfermarkt.
