It's official! Lamine Ndiaye is the new coach of USM Alger
Official announcement made on Friday, 20 February
The Senegalese tactician will lead the Algerian club until the end of the season with an option to extend.
After several days of speculation, Lamine Ndiaye has officially taken the reins at USM Alger. The Senegalese coach, who left TP Mazembe (DR Congo) at the end of January, bounces back in the Algerian Ligue 1.
The club announced his signing on 20 February 2026 in a statement on its social media accounts. Lamine Ndiaye's contract extension at USM Alger will depend on the results at the end of the season. The Senegalese will be re-signed if the objectives set by USMA management are achieved, the Algerian League club said.
