The club reported that Kylian has been diagnosed with a sprain of his left knee, but surgery will most likely not be required:
“After an examination of our player Kylian Mbappé by French medical specialists under the supervision of Real Madrid’s medical staff, the diagnosis of a left knee sprain has been confirmed and conservative treatment is deemed appropriate. Further updates will follow.”
At the moment, there is no exact timeline for Mbappé’s recovery, but there is a strong possibility that the Frenchman will miss the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Manchester City, scheduled for March 11.
Reminder: Camavinga will miss today’s match against Getafe for a highly unusual reason…
