European champions’ head coach Luis de la Fuente praised Barcelona for integrating a significant number of young players into their lineup. Notably, many of these talents are already being called up for the Spanish national team.
Quote: “We don’t focus on club affiliations; we value players based on their level of play. Barcelona is doing excellent work by providing opportunities for young players. A team with talented youth doesn’t lose. This is positive progress for Spanish football,” said the 63-year-old coach.
Recall: Four Barcelona players—Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Marc Casado, and Pedri—were called up to the Spanish squad for the Nations League matches. Spain will face Denmark and Switzerland on November 15 and 18, respectively.
