In their last ten matches, Manchester City has managed only one win, with two draws and seven losses. Pep Guardiola shed light on the challenges the team is facing.

According to the Manchester City head coach, the team is currently playing without two key players: Ballon d’Or winner Rodri and England's best player Phil Foden.

Quote: "This season, we’re playing without the Ballon d’Or winner Rodri… and without last season’s best player in England, Foden. No team can function without central defenders, the Ballon d’Or winner, and the best player in the Premier League for an entire season," Guardiola stated.

With January approaching and the transfer window opening soon, clubs will have opportunities to buy and sell players. However, Guardiola seems unbothered by the transfer market. The Spanish coach emphasized that he does not need new signings but is focused on bringing back the players already in the squad.

Note: Manchester City is reportedly planning to sign Newcastle's star Bruno Guimarães, and the Brazilian midfielder is open to joining the club.
