"It's a Thing of Joy to Get the Maximum Points Today" – Nasarawa United Technical Adviser Mbwas Mangut

Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut expressed his delight as the team returned to winning ways in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance of Benin City.

The Solid Miners ended a four-game winless streak at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday, securing all three points and lifting team morale.

Speaking to the club’s media team after the match, Mangut said, "It's a thing of joy to get the maximum points today.

"Prior to today, we had lost two games this second stanza of the league which affected the team's spirit, but I'm glad we are recovering gradually.

"You see, these things happen once a while in every team, but it's up to every member of the team to self-motivate themselves by picking up their pieces and recover.
