"It's a dream come true". Barcelona present a player for the Brazilian national team
Vitor Roque has already made his debut for Barcelona, but today marked his official presentation as a Blaugrana player.
“It's a dream come true to be here. Before I made my debut yesterday, Xavi told me to stay calm. My teammates welcomed me in the best way possible”, – stated the young Brazilian.
Interestingly, Barcelona's president, Joan Laporta, was absent from the presentation. Media sources attribute this to personal reasons, as he also missed yesterday's match against Las Palmas.
Against Las Palmas, Roque entered the field in the 78th minute. In the dying moments of the game, he had an excellent opportunity to score his first goal but missed from a favorable position.
Recalling, Barcelona paid €40 million to Atletico Paranaense for Roque last summer.
