On Wednesday, June 5th, the final of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship took place, where Italy faced Portugal.
The match began with a flurry of early goals from the Italians. Federico Coletta opened the scoring in the seventh minute, and just nine minutes later, Francesco Camarda made it 2-0. The teams went into halftime with Italy leading by two goals.
At the start of the second half, Italy struck again, with Francesco Camarda completing his brace. Portugal tried to mount a comeback, but the Italian defense remained steadfast, denying any scoring opportunities for their opponents.
Italy dominated the final against Portugal with a resounding 3-0 victory, becoming the UEFA European Under-17 champions.
