"It was the right decision" – Bayern Munich star opens up about move to the Bavarian club
The star winger of Bayern Munich, Luis Díaz, expressed complete satisfaction with his transfer to the German club in an interview with ESPN Colombia.
Details: After a brilliant 2–1 victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, the Colombian winger couldn’t hide his emotions, emphasizing that he has never once regretted his move to Munich.
“Joining Bayern was the right decision. I’m truly happy and enjoying every match,” said the footballer, whose first-half goal laid the foundation for the Germans’ ultimate success.
Díaz noted that his phenomenal scoring record this season is the result of top physical condition and unity within the squad.
According to the player, Bayern approached the clash with the “royal club” with a clear understanding of how to get the job done.
“I feel great, I’m in good shape, and that means I’m ready to help the team. We have a clear plan, we’re a very tight-knit group, and you can see that on the pitch,” Luis added, commenting on Bayern’s dominance in the away match.
It’s worth noting that Luis Díaz joined the Bavarian side this summer from Liverpool for €70 million and has since played 40 matches for Bayern in all competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing 18 assists.
Reminder: Van der Vaart criticized Real Madrid’s winger Vinícius Júnior for his performance against Bayern.
