It was awkward. The Chelsea midfielder insulted today's opponents on social networks
Today, in the second round of the English Premier League, Chelsea will visit Wolverhampton. However, a rather amusing yet unfortunate incident occurred ahead of the match.
Chelsea midfielder Noni Madueke, who traveled with the team to Wolverhampton, posted on his Instagram account:
"Everything about this place is s***".

Tagging the Wolverhampton location. He quickly deleted the post and created a new one, explaining that he had mistakenly posted it on the wrong account.
“Damnn wrong Instagram account.. You lot are too fast,” he wrote.

It remains unclear why Madueke intended to make a post insulting one of England’s cities. His Instagram account has 960,000 followers. The post was made just a few hours before Chelsea's first away match of the season, an action that could have angered not only fans but also the coaching staff.
Madueke has yet to secure a place in Chelsea’s starting lineup. He started the first two matches of the season on the bench, did not feature in the match against Manchester City, and played 34 minutes in a UEFA Conference League qualifier. Despite this, he was a regular starter under Mauricio Pochettino towards the end of last season.
