"It was a wonderful experience," Christ Inao Oulaï recalls his participation in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

Christ Inao Oulaï had a great time with Ivory Coast at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The young midfielder looked back on his participation upon his return to Trabzonspor.

Even though Côte d'Ivoire was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the tournament by Egypt, Christ Inao Oulaï has fond memories of his participation in the continental competition. He gave his all to bring joy to the Ivorian people.

"It was a wonderful experience. I tried to give the Ivorians something to cheer about. Even though we were knocked out in the quarter-finals, it was a wonderful experience. It was a source of pride," said the 19-year-old Ivorian player.

Oulaï also spoke about the heroic welcome he received in Côte d'Ivoire on his return from the competition after the Elephants were eliminated. "I wasn't really known in my neighbourhood, but I came back as a hero," he said.

Christ Inao Oulaï distinguished himself at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, culminating in a man-of-the-match award after his remarkable performance against Gabon in the group stage.
