It is not known whether Lewandowski will leave Barcelona in the winter transfer window

Barcelona currently has no plans to sell their striker Robert Lewandowski, as reported by Diario Sport.
According to sources, Barcelona's head coach, Xavi Hernandez, considers Lewandowski a key forward and a crucial player. The team's future is envisioned around such key players, and the management does not contemplate transferring the Polish striker, even in the event of a worsening financial situation. His current contract runs until the summer of 2026.
There were earlier reports suggesting that Barcelona might consider selling Lewandowski due to a decline in his performance. This season, Robert has scored nine goals and provided four assists in 20 matches. For statistics and the transfer history of the 35-year-old forward, you can refer to the relevant details.
It's worth noting that at Bayern Munich, Lewandowski established himself as one of the best players of his generation. On July 16, 2022, Barcelona confirmed an agreement with Bayern for the transfer of the Polish striker. He signed a four-year contract worth 45 million euros, potentially rising to 50 million euros with additional conditions.
The contract included a release clause set at 500 million euros. Lewandowski became the most expensive Polish player in history and Bayern's most expensive acquisition of all time. On August 5, he was officially presented before 50,000 fans at Camp Nou, receiving the number 9 shirt previously worn by Memphis Depay.
The player was officially registered on August 12 amid speculations that the club might face registration challenges due to exceeding the salary cap in the league, caused by financial difficulties.
