The list of 40 referees who are candidates to officiate at the 2024 Olympic Games in basketball has been published.

According to BasketNews, none of the EuroLeague referees made it onto this list, thus they will not officiate at the Olympics. It's worth noting that out of the 40 candidates, 30 referees will be selected to officiate at the men's and women's basketball tournaments.

The referees will participate in an intensive 14-week preparation program, including video analysis, physical training, psychological preparation, and team-building exercises. Additionally, there will be a three-day pre-competition camp in Belgium shortly before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In other news, the US basketball team continues to finalize its roster for the 2024 Olympics. It has been reported that barring any unforeseen circumstances, Drew Holiday will be among the 12 basketball players at the Olympic Games.

Furthermore, bookmakers have offered their odds on the EuroLeague basketball championship. According to the bookmakers' odds, Real Madrid is the top favorite to win the tournament.
