It has happened! McLaren have won the Constructors' Championship for the first time since 1998

The McLaren team has claimed victory in the 2024 Formula 1 Constructors' Championship. Ahead of the final Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, the British team led the standings with a 21-point advantage over Ferrari and managed to secure the title thanks to Lando Norris' victory in Sunday’s race.

This triumph marks McLaren's ninth Constructors' Championship in history and the first since 1998. Since then, the Woking-based team has repeatedly fought for the title but lost their lead during previous seasons.

In this year’s championship, McLaren outpaced their rivals through the combined efforts of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, finishing the season in first place after the final round of 2024.
