It has been revealed when Pedri will be able to return to the pitch

Barcelona has already begun preparations for the new season, but the team will have to start without their key midfielder, Pedri, who sustained an injury in the Euro 2024 quarter-final match against Germany.

According to Diario Sport, Barcelona conducted additional tests today that confirmed the initial diagnosis – a sprained ligament in his left knee.

Pedri's recovery is expected to take around five weeks, with his return to the field anticipated no earlier than mid-September.

It is likely that Pedri will play his first match of the season in the 5th round of La Liga against Girona away.

To recall, Pedri sustained the injury following a collision with the legendary Toni Kroos early in the match. He missed both the semi-final against France and Spain's triumphant final against England.
