Yesterday, Real Madrid's central midfielder Eduardo Camavinga sustained an injury during training ahead of the UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta. Today, it was revealed how long Real Madrid will be without the Frenchman.
According to Marca, Camavinga has been diagnosed with a sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
Real Madrid expects the young French midfielder to return to full training in 6-7 weeks, likely no earlier than the beginning of October.
In the previous season, Camavinga played 46 matches for Real Madrid, providing 4 assists.
The UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Atalanta will take place in Warsaw tonight, with kickoff at 21:00 Central European Time.
