On the night leading into Monday, 9 February, the decisive game of the NFL season, Super Bowl LX, took place in Santa Clara. The New England Patriots faced off against the Seattle Seahawks in the championship showdown.
Seattle seized the initiative from the opening quarter and gradually, but convincingly, continued to build on their advantage. The Seahawks held a commanding 19:0 lead at the start of the final quarter. New England attempted a late comeback and managed to put some points on the board, but they were unable to truly close the gap.
The Seahawks added several more points and secured a convincing 29:13 victory, thereby lifting the Super Bowl LX trophy.
For the Seattle Seahawks, this marks the second championship title in the franchise’s history. Their first triumph came in 2013, and they have now managed to repeat that achievement.
