“It has been a real privilege,” Habib Beye bids farewell to Marseille
The Senegalese manager expressed his gratitude to everyone who had made his time at the Marseille club memorable.
Habib Beye has not been Marseille’s manager since 30 June. The former Senegalese international and the French club parted ways after a few months of working together. A few days after this split, Beye officially bid farewell via a message posted on Instagram.
“My adventure is coming to an end, but it has been a real privilege to be the manager of Olympique de Marseille, and I wanted to thank you, the supporters, for your passion and your support. To all the club staff with whom I had the pleasure of working, as well as my entire coaching staff who stood by me and supported me, I would like to express my deepest admiration and gratitude.
To my players, Thank you for staying together, united and close-knit right until the end of our journey to qualify the club for European competition. Thank you, Marseille.”
