Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez has addressed the transfer rumors that have recently linked his name with Barcelona and Liverpool. The Argentine made it clear that, at this moment, he isn't giving much importance to talks about a possible move.
In an interview with Marca, Álvarez emphasized that he is aware of the media buzz surrounding him but tries to tune out the speculation.
It doesn't bother me. I know what's being said about me, but I try not to pay attention to it. There's a lot written on social media, but that doesn't always reflect reality. Right now, what matters most is thinking about my game, my progress, and winning with Atlético. I try to block out all the noise and focus on football," Álvarez said.
To recap, after his move from Manchester City in 2024, the 25-year-old Argentine quickly became Atlético's star player. So far this season, he has netted 11 goals and provided 4 assists in 21 club appearances.
