It didn't work out at Roma. Real Madrid are exploring the option of signing Hermoso
Real Madrid is facing a dire situation in central defense, with the club now exploring solutions for the upcoming winter transfer window.
Details: According to Marca, Real Madrid is evaluating the possibility of signing center-back Mario Hermoso, who has struggled to secure a place in Roma's starting lineup.
It is reported that Hermoso is unhappy in Rome and wants to leave the club.
The 29-year-old Spaniard is a Real Madrid academy product, having moved to Espanyol in the summer of 2017. In 2019, Hermoso joined Atlético Madrid, leaving as a free agent after last season.
This season, Hermoso has only featured in six Serie A matches, with just one start.
Reminder: In a recent match against Osasuna, Real Madrid's primary central defender Éder Militão suffered a cruciate ligament rupture, ruling him out for the rest of the season.
