It is known for sure that Kylian Mbappé will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season. The Frenchman himself has already informed the president of the Parisian club about this. However, it is not yet known for certain where exactly the star forward will go.

With the highest probability, Mbappé will give preference to Real Madrid, but neither the player nor the club has made an official statement on this matter yet.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid continue to hold negotiations, but it is expected that an agreement on personal terms will be reached in the near future. French expert Jérôme Rothen believes that the timing depends on several factors. His words are quoted by Diario AS:

"Mbappé is going to sign a contract with Real Madrid, he will announce it before the European Championship. He will announce it when Paris Saint-Germain is eliminated from the Champions League or if Real Madrid is eliminated from the Champions League by Manchester City in the quarterfinals or in the semifinals by the winner of the Arsenal - Bayern Munich pair. As long as there is a possibility of a face-to-face meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the final, no statement will be made."

For Mbappé, it makes sense to delay announcing his move to Real Madrid for as long as possible in order to not disrupt his relationship with his teammates at Paris Saint-Germain, although "Los Blancos" fans are eagerly awaiting official information about the Frenchman's transfer.
