It became known how Everton players reacted to the deduction of 10 points in the Premier League

Everton directorKevin Thelwell spoke out about the team's punishment in the English Premier League.

As you know, the Toffees are deprived of ten points for violating the rules of financial fair play.

According to Thelwell, the team was sympathetic to what was happening and no one was going to back down.

“We are united in the face of sporting sanctions the only way we know how - through focus and hard work in support of the team.

We are now on a streak of six wins in our last nine games in all competitions. The team demonstrated the effort, camaraderie and courage that are the hallmarks of our club.

Our team remains strong and unshakable. The coaching staff and players of the team are completely focused on the work ahead. We know that every Everton player supports us,” the club’s press service quotes the functionary as saying.

It is noteworthy that Everton dropped to penultimate place in the standings after the penalties.
