In Matchweek 19 of La Liga, Real Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 3–0, though midfielder Eduardo Camavinga picked up a knock. However, it now seems the setback is minor.

Details: According to Miguel Ángel Díaz, the French midfielder has only sustained a mild sprain of his left ankle. There is a chance he could feature in Real Madrid’s next La Liga match against Celta.

The clash between Real Madrid and Celta is scheduled for Sunday, 7 December, with kick-off set for 21:00 CET. Real currently sit second in the La Liga standings, one point behind Barcelona.

We also reported that Trent Alexander-Arnold suffered an injury, and Real Madrid have officially confirmed that the defender has been diagnosed with a strain of the left rectus femoris, part of the quadriceps muscle group.

Reminder: Kylian Mbappé scored for Real Madrid in the match against Athletic, a goal that put him level with Cristiano Ronaldo for the number of goals scored in a single calendar year.
