Issa Soumare is set to sign for Rennes
His contract with Le Havre AC is due to expire
The Senegalese forward is set to join on a free transfer.
Issa Soumare is set to continue his career in France’s Ligue 1. Whilst he had also attracted interest from Feyenoord and Schalke 04, it was Rennes who managed to win over the Senegalese winger.
The 25-year-old forward is set to join the club, according to reports in the French press. He will join as a free agent, as his contract with Le Havre AC officially expires on 30 June.
Last season, Issa Soumaré scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists in 34 appearances for Le Havre in Ligue 1.
