The Senegalese striker is breaking records this season.

Against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa Conference League semi-final on Thursday 30 April, Ismaïla Sarr once again made a lasting impression. The Senegalese player distinguished himself with an early goal.

He opened the scoring for Crystal Palace just 22 seconds into the match. With this strike, Sarr scored the fastest goal in the competition’s history.

Not only did he make history with the earliest goal, but he has also become one of the top scorers in the Europa Conference League this season. He has scored eight goals, level with Ishak and Marius.

Across all competitions, Ismaïla Sarr has now scored 18 goals this season. The Senegalese player had never achieved such a feat since turning professional.
