Ismaël Doukoure wants to change his sporting nationality

Ismaël Doukoure will certainly no longer represent France on the international stage. Having played for the under-19, under-20, under-21 and under-23 teams, the France-born player is set to opt for the Ivorian national team.

He has begun the administrative procedures that could lead to a change in his sporting nationality. Ismaël Doukoure visited the Ivorian Consulate in Paris to obtain his Ivorian passport.

With the World Cup scheduled for this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico fast approaching, it cannot be ruled out that Doukoure will be part of Emerse Faé’s squad for the trip to America.
