(Exclusive) Is Wydad Really Eyeing Al Ahly’s Reda Slim This Winter?

A high-ranking official from Wydad Athletic Club has rejected the ongoing speculation regarding the club's supposed interest in acquiring Al Ahly's Reda Slim during the upcoming winter transfer window. Recent reports indicated that Wydad had reached out to Al Ahly to inquire about the winger's availability.

A source, clarified that no formal inquiries have been made regarding Slim. “The reports about Wydad wanting Reda Slim are not true. The club has not engaged in discussions about player signings for the transfer window,” the source explained.

Since his arrival at Al Ahly, Slim has had limited playing time, appearing as a substitute in only four matches this season, totaling 90 minutes on the field. Once a prominent player in the Moroccan league, Slim has faced challenges in making a significant impact at Al Ahly. His contract with the Egyptian club is set to last until June 2027, meaning he has three more years remaining in his agreement.
