Manchester United's recent results are fuelling speculation about Erik ten Hag's resignation as head coach. And although we are assured that the club is supporting their specialist in every way possible, not everyone gets the same feeling.
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has suggested that ten Hag's assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy is simply sucking up to his coach, waiting for his place to become vacant so he can take it himself:
‘Is van Nistelrooy waiting to take his place? Because it looks like a change is coming there. Is everyone adding to the group? I don't see that with van Nistelrooy. Ten Hag just sits there, nothing happens, no talking. Is everyone looking in the mirror at themselves and giving their best?’, Keown stated in a conversation with talkSPORT.
