Dark clouds are gathering over Gervonta Davis.

Details: According to ESPN, the 31-year-old American WBA lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis has been officially declared wanted by Miami police.

Reports indicate that Davis is accused of domestic violence, unlawful imprisonment, attempted kidnapping, as well as assault and causing bodily harm.

At this moment, Gervonta Davis is on the run from law enforcement, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

This is not the first incident in the boxer's troubled past. Previously, he faced legal issues for assault and threats against his former girlfriend, Courtney Russell, who accused him of various crimes.

According to Miami police, they possess video evidence of Davis's alleged crimes, which is expected to play a key role in holding him accountable.

Davis last entered the ring in March 2025 against Lamont Roach. That bout ended in a draw, delivering a heavy blow to Davis’s confidence.
