Is this even normal? The referee sent off three Lazio players in 39 minutes of Serie A game

In the opening game of the 27th round of Serie A Lazio and Milan met. The match was crucial, as both teams are fighting for the European Cup. Milan eventually won 1–0 thanks to a goal by Noah Okafor. However, the game will be remembered not for the result on the scoreboard, but for the work of the referee team.

During the second half, the referee Marco Di Bello showed a red card to three Lazio players.

On 57 minutes, Luca Pellegrini was waiting for the referee's whistle, as his team-mate was lying on the turf. As a result, Pellegrini had to stop Pulisic with an unsportsmanlike tackle, for which he received his second yellow card of the match.

On 90+4 minutes, Adam Marusic received an immediate red card without warning. It is not entirely clear what was the catalyst for this: most likely some words the player said to the referee.

On 90+6 minutes, Pulisic stopped Mattéo Guendouzi rather harshly and the latter responded by pushing his opponent away. However, the Milan player was penalised with a yellow card and the Lazio player with a red card.
