The injured Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois may recover sooner than expected.

According to Defensa Central, the Belgian goalkeeper participated in a training session with the team on Saturday, albeit with some restrictions.

His full return to the group training is anticipated by the end of April. There is a possibility that Courtois might be able to play in the remaining matches of this season.

Recall that in August of last year, Courtois suffered a serious injury - a cruciate ligament tear. As a result, he has been sidelined for the entire season, with Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin taking his place in goal.

In March, Courtois experienced a recurrence of the injury and was at risk of not playing again this season. He was diagnosed with a torn internal meniscus in his right knee, for which he underwent surgery.
