Neymar isn't wasting any time during his recovery from injury.
Details: According to PortalleoDias, the 34-year-old Santos and Brazil national team forward was recently spotted at a poker tournament, where he spent the entire weekend.
Reports say Neymar took part in an online tournament from Friday to Sunday, with the minimum buy-in for this poker event set at $5,000.
According to sources, Neymar lost around $20,000 over the weekend, sparking heated debates in the media among fans who accuse him of shifting his priorities. They argue that during the poker tournament, he should have been focusing on rehabilitation after his injury, not participating in high-stakes gambling.
To make matters worse for Neymar, Santos played Cruzeiro on Sunday while he missed the match, opting instead to sit at the poker table.
The club claims that Neymar currently has no injuries or other health issues, and his absence from the match against Cruzeiro was allegedly due to load management as recommended by the medical staff for the 34-year-old Brazilian.
