IPL 2026: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants Match Preview and Prediction

Kolkata Knight Riders are set to lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants in Match 15 of the IPL 2026, with the contest scheduled for Thursday, April 9, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Kolkata Knight Riders Preview

The Kolkata Knight Riders are experiencing a frustrating campaign as they are still searching for their first win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season. KKR opened their IPL campaign with a six-wicket defeat to the Mumbai Indians and then succumbed to the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 65 runs. However, they will consider themselves lucky as they registered their first points on the board in their last game against the Punjab Kings at the Eden, which was abandoned. Kolkata Knight Riders are currently in 8th place without a win.

Kolkata Knight Riders XI:

They began their campaign with a six-wicket loss to the Delhi Capitals but bounced back by claiming a five-wicket win on Sunday against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. With the win, LSG now sit sixth on the scoreboard with two points.

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants Prediction

Based on current form and overall balance, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) look set to claim victory against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). KKR earned their first point via an abandoned match but struggled early on, leaving LSG with the edge. My prediction is the Lucknow Super Giants will win with odds of 1.82 on 1xBet.
