Strasbourg appears to be preparing for a major shake-up on the managerial front.
Details: According to L'Equipe, former Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy is on Strasbourg’s shortlist for the head coach position.
However, as reported by renowned journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the French club has also made contact with former Tottenham boss Thomas Frank. He is open to negotiations, but has a key condition: the Danish specialist wants influence over transfer policy and to be actively involved in signing new players.
At this stage, Frank seems to be the more prioritized candidate for Strasbourg. Wilfried Nancy, meanwhile, is being considered as plan B should talks with the Danish coach fall through.
It’s worth noting that Thomas Frank was dismissed from his role as Tottenham head coach in February 2026, while Wilfried Nancy left Celtic at the start of January.
