The management of Inter Milan plans to extend the contract with head coach Simone Inzaghi until 2027 with an increase in his salary. This was reported by the well-known insider Nicolo Schira.

Inzaghi took over the team in 2021 and during this time has achieved significant success, including winning the Coppa Italia twice and the Italian Supercup three times, as well as leading the club to the Champions League final.

"We love Simone and obviously we want to continue working with him. We will start negotiations at the right time. His contract expires in 2025, but he is happy here, and we are very satisfied with Simone's work," - said Inter's CEO Giuseppe Marotta in a recent interview.

Inter currently leads Serie A confidently, ahead of the closest pursuer by 12 points.
