In the summer of 2025, Inter will be one of the participants in the Club World Cup in the USA. It seems the "Nerazzurri" have consciously or unconsciously repeated the step of their former coach José Mourinho, who once led the club to a Champions League victory.

Details: During the Club World Cup, Inter's main base will be the University of California, Los Angeles. Remarkably, 16 years ago, the "Nerazzurri" had their pre-season training there under Mourinho, and by the end of the 2009/2010 season, the club from the blue side of Milan triumphed in the Champions League.

Basing in Los Angeles is more of a convenient choice for Inter than an intentional decision to replicate the summer preceding their victorious season, as all three group stage matches will be played on the West Coast.

Reminder: Earlier, Mourinho himself expressed hope that UEFA is not taking revenge on him for Fenerbahçe's exit from the Europa League against Rangers, which he linked to his criticism of referee Anthony Taylor after the 2023 Europa League final defeat to Sevilla.
