Inter President Beppe Marotta has confirmed that team leader Lautaro Martinez will soon sign a new contract with the Milan club.
"Everything is settled. It will be official in the coming weeks," Beppe Marotta told Sky.
Lautaro will sign a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri until June 2029, with a net salary of €9 million per season plus bonuses.
The 26-year-old has been with the Nerazzurri since 2018, with Inter paying Argentine club Racing €25 million for the player.
Since then, the Argentine national team forward (56 caps, 22 goals) has scored 129 goals in 282 matches for the Milan side.
With 24 goals to his name, Martinez was the top scorer in Serie A for the 2023/24 season, and Inter became the Italian champions with a 19-point lead.
