On the night of Monday, March 3, the second match of the MLS regular season took place, with Houston Dynamo hosting Inter Miami.
This match saw the absence of Lionel Messi, who was given a rest after a hectic season start. The Argentine had played three matches in six days, so the club decided to protect their star player.
However, even without him, Inter Miami confidently dismantled their opponent. The main hero of the match was Luis Suárez – the Uruguayan notched up three assists and scored a goal. Miami routed Houston Dynamo 4-1 and, after two rounds, has accumulated four points.
Inter Miami's next match will be on the night of Friday, March 7, in the CONCACAF Champions League against Cavalier.
