Today marked the conclusion of the regular MLS season, with Inter Miami's earlier confirmed championship victory and their place in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup already sealed. At the MLS Champions Award Ceremony, FIFA President Gianni Infantino was present to officially announce that the opening match of the 2025 tournament will take place at Inter Miami’s home ground.

Details: Tonight, all MLS teams played their final matches of the season. Inter Miami clinched the title ahead of schedule and secured their spot in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as the champions of the host nation.
Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, attended the award ceremony and congratulated Inter Miami on their triumph. He also confirmed the team's participation in the Club World Cup, adding that the opening match of the tournament will be held at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
