Inter is preparing a pleasant surprise for fans
Giuseppe Marotta, Inter's CEO, has announced the start of negotiations to extend the contract with Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez.
Marotta stressed that negotiations are already underway with Martinez and his agent to conclude a new contract, and he is confident that there will be no problems, since the player himself wants to remain at the club. He added that negotiations are ongoing.
Lautaro Martinez has been playing for Inter since 2018. This season he has played 17 matches in all competitions and scored 15 goals. His current contract with the club runs until the end of June 2026. According to the Transfermarkt portal, its estimated value is € 85 million.
Earlier it was also reported that Inter plans to begin negotiations on a contract extension with Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
