Inter faces the risk of losing a key player after the match against Atletico Madrid

Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram sustained an injury during the 1/8 finals match of the Champions League against Atletico (1:0). The forward was forced to request a substitution during halftime due to discomfort.

The preliminary diagnosis for the Frenchman is pain in the adductor of his right thigh. The issue requires further assessment in the coming days, after which the timeframe for the forward's return can be determined.

Thuram risks missing Serie A matches against Lecce (February 25), Atalanta (February 28), Genoa (March 4), and Bologna (March 10). The club hopes that the forward will recover in time for the return leg in Madrid, scheduled for March 13.
